Jeff Phillips
Jeff Phillips is the chief instructor at Western Combatives and creator of the Ultimate Self Defense Championship. Jeff has also branched out into reality based fighting systems/combatives, sparking his interest in the psychology of violence and close quarter combat/weapon defence.
Jeff’s training has always incorporated the mental side and has a philosophy of the right knowledge and mindset can beat brute force, contributing to his success with training women and children to effectively defend themselves. Jeff has designed & conducted many personal protection programs for a wide range of occupations such as: nurses, taxi drivers, bus drivers, school teachers, police, security and many more appearing on television, radio, magazines and newspapers multiple times.
